The Relationship
Since 2020, we’ve been retained by The Snowsuit Fund as their Development and Communications team, tasked with planning and managing all fundraising and events that support the purchase, warehousing, and distribution of snowsuits for underserved children. As part of a larger fundraising transformation, we introduced a new iconic signature gala, designed to align directly with the Fund’s annual strategy.
The Work
As full-service event architects, we created SnowBall—a glamorous, all-inclusive evening blending luxury ambiance, culinary excellence, live entertainment, and flawless logistics delivered in partnership with Ottawa’s top suppliers.
We curated the event’s identity, promotional assets, and immersive fundraising elements—live and silent auctions, raffles, beauty bars, and experiential “by-donation” activations—that resonated emotionally with guests and drove engagement.
We also developed tiered sponsorship packages that secured new, multi-year partnership commitments, ensuring the event’s sustainability and growth.
The Results
The inaugural SnowBall drew more than 300 guests and raised over $40,000 net. After a pause during COVID, the 2024 edition returned stronger than ever—selling out at 500 guests, generating over $85,000 net, and welcoming an impressive roster of new sponsors and supporters.
